When I was in junior high, I took a ceramics class because it looked like fun and I fell in love with the craft. After dropping out of the university due to family finances, I took a job with a celadon artisan where I learned many things. But I dreamed about crafting my own designs. After four years there, I bought a small gas-fired kiln, suitable for a family workshop, and began working on my own. I use both the potter's wheel and the slab technique in my work. I like to touch every piece of my work. I feel like I can pass my feelings onto my designs my happiness in each one of them. Although they are functional, they can be pieces of art.'...
